Many reasons to celebrate: 50th anniversary

The company, founded by Kurt Schumacher and his wife in 1948, celebrates its 50th anniversary - with continued good prospects for the future: the new fully automatic high-bay warehouse is put into operation. It is one of the first of its kind ever in the packaging industry.

Another reason to celebrate: with only one corrugated board production plant, an output of well over 100,000 tonnes is achieved under a covered area of around 60,000 m² with over 400 employees. In 1998 Schumacher Wellpappe, with a turnover of almost 160 million DM, is one of the most modern and efficient production companies in the industry worldwide. What an achievement!
