New plant in Schwarzenberg

The company continues to grow: expansion continues with the purchase of Kartonagen Schwarzenberg, a company founded in 1868. The takeover opens up two new product areas: the production of packaging made of solid board and the first in-house cardboard production. Schumacher is now able to offer almost all products in the field of packaging and displays made of solid and corrugated board in the various printing processes. With a product range that is in no way inferior to that of the large corporations and is unique for a family-run medium-sized company, the company has positioned itself very well in the market.

With a total of around 1,250 employees, the company achieved a turnover of approximately 245 million euros in the 2008 business year.
