Acquisition of the Polpak Group: The largest acquisition in the company's history to date

The takeover of Polpak enables Schumacher Packaging to finally join the ranks of the large European medium-sized companies. The Polpak Group is one of the largest privately owned Polish packaging companies with over 500 employees. Schumacher Packaging acquires two modern production plants for corrugated board packaging and corrugated board base paper production in Bydgoszcz and Grudziądz. With the successful acquisition of Polpak, the company rises to become one of the top 3 suppliers of corrugated board packaging on the Polish market.

In 2010, a group turnover of 345 million euros is achieved with almost 2,000 employees - a new record!
